Sky’s Angel Reese Pieces partners with Reese’s Pieces to create perfect logo mashup collection
WNBA's Angel Reese to Have 'Reese's Pieces' Collection After Sponsorship Contract
Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese Pieces is launching a new clothing line called “Reese’s Pieces” after teaming up with The Hershey Company, as reported by Nick DePaula on Wednesday for Boardroom.
The collection, which you can find on Reese’s official website, includes shirts, sweatshirts, and hats with the phrase “Reese’s Angel.” There will be more items added soon, including a jersey.
Since starting her career at LSU, Reese has signed deals with almost 24 companies, according to DePaula. Her connection with Hershey started when she called her fans “Reese’s pieces” on social media, leading to a collaboration with the candy brand.
Reese also wore custom Reese’s-themed sneakers, designed by Marvin Baroota, and now her partnership with Hershey is official. This deal adds to her impressive list of endorsements, which helped her earn a $1.8 million valuation at LSU.
Before working with Hershey, Reese’s biggest deal was with Reebok, making her the first rookie to launch a product line with an athletic brand.
In addition to her new merchandise, the Sky recently announced a Barbie theme night with Mattel on August 30, which ties in with Reese’s nickname.
On the court, Angel Reese Pieces is performing well, averaging 13.6 points and 12.3 rebounds per game. She recently set a WNBA record for double-doubles in 15 consecutive games and became the fastest player to reach 20 double-doubles. She’s now closing in on the single-season rookie record of 22 double-doubles set by Tina Charles in 2010. With her rising popularity, Reese, the Sky, and Hershey are all set to make the most of this moment.
