Spreading by means of online amusement stages like X, the false passing statement has been seen by endless people. There are typos and a satirical quote in it.

Carter, who is 99 years old, is still receiving hospice care in Plains, Georgia, where he grew up. He will be 100 years old on October 1, 2024.
