Hydrothermal explosion leads to closure of parts of Yellowstone National Park: A hydrothermal explosion that occurred on Tuesday morning in the Biscuit Basin region northwest of Old Faithful, according to the scientist in charge of the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory for the U.S. Geological Survey, damaged a boardwalk and sent debris several stories into the air.
